Nice big, comfortable apartment in a good location

Aspectos positivos: The apartment was big and modern with a comfortable bed, good A/C, big bathroom and good facilities. The host was very responsive via WhatsApp and the location was great with a couple of metro stations close by. Some great Asian restaurants close by as well. The apartment is on the ground floor facing the street but has bars - just don’t open the windows. This didn’t bother us and we just used the A/C if it got stuffy.

Our stay in Madrid was very enjoyable as it offers a great choice of parks, museums and restaurants.

Aspectos positivos: The apartment is very close to all the main attractions in the city and some great restaurants. Well and modern furnishings and comfortable beds.

Aspectos positivos: Appartement spacieux et très joliment aménagé. Hôte très réactif et sympathique.

Aspectos negativos: Seul bémol, peu d'ouverture sur l'extérieur.

Heerlijke week gehad!

Aspectos positivos: Locatie echt top, heerlijk ruim appartement, fijn bed en top douche.

Aspectos negativos: Appartement best donker, schimmelplekken in de slaapkamer, afvoer loopt niet goed door, tikkend geluid bij regen/onweer in de keuken. Minimaal aantal handdoeken voor zeven nachtjes, konden wij overigens wel verkrijgen voor extra vergoeding. Contacten erg zakelijk. Geen persoonlijk contact van de host naar ons toe, ook geen enkel berichtje/appje na de grote stroomstoring in heel Spanje/Portugal om te vragen of wij oké waren. Ook geen tussentijdse appjes. Geen mogelijkheid tot latere check out. Geen to do tips Madrid.

Super ubicación y departamento muy completo

Aspectos positivos: El lugar súper ubicado, tranquilo y muy céntrico. Tienes servicios y restaurantes cerca. Es un barrio muy lindo

Great place to stay near Plaza de Espana

Aspectos positivos: The property is super great. This is a large 1BR / 1.5BA fully furnished apartment on the ground floor located 3-5 mins by feet from Plaza de Espana metro station. The street is very calm, and the building is nice and clean. You can walk to the city center or ride public transportation easily from there. The apartment has all kinds of things for comfortable mid or even long term stay. The pricing was great too. In general, it was a enjoyable place to stay and we highly recommend it.

Aspectos negativos: There was a problem with a dripping water sound inside a vent shaft during heavy rains. The property manager sent the maintenance specialist to check it up, and he though it's a wind, but later we realized it was a water. It was not a leak into the apartment, and has nothing to do with apartment itself. But dripping water sound behind a wall is a nuisance still.

A lovely work week in central Madrid

Aspectos positivos: Amazing location within easy walking distance of three Metro lines and loads of world class restaurants within a few hundred meters. Very responsive hosts. Having two toilets (aseos) in the unit was key for us. Apartment is clean, well maintained, well-furnished and spacious for Madrid, with a separate bedroom and large screen TV that allowed me to work during the day and leave my partner in peace in the other room.

Aspectos negativos: It took us a while to figure out how to get hot water in the shower but property manager was super-responsive on Whatsapp and we eventually learned that hot water comes only when the water pressure in the shower is ~75%. The kitchen is great but the unit is new on the rental market, we think, given the paucity of usable cookware, utensils and essentials like salt, sugar, oil and vinegar. The apartment is ground level and lacks any private space outside. Natural light is okay but getting fresh air into the unit required us to open (barred) windows to the street. All in all, the apartment is a GREAT value. But it's best you know before you go.
