Aspectos positivos: El alojamiento es tal cual se ve en las fotos. Es precioso, puesto con mucho gusto, todo nuevo, colchones de calidad. Me encantó!!! Y la zona suuuper cómoda, está al lado del Rastro, a 500 metros o menos del metro de la La Latina

Comfortable and clean accommodation great for exploring Madrid

Aspectos positivos: It was clean and comfortable. A great location with local restaurants and close to metro - La Latina station. I slept in the basement bedroom which was comfortable and minimal noise. My friend slept on ground floor. Host was helpful and accommodating

Aspectos negativos: Toilet is located on ground floor. I slept in the basement bedroom. The outside noise levels varied (the front door is on a road). On Sunday morning a street market was set up outside the door. This is useful to know as roads cordoned off and the stall set up early.

Comfortable one nighter in La Latina

Aspectos positivos: Location in the very La Latina within easy access from metro La Latina. Nicely decorated, spacious, well maintained apartment. Alma was absolutely lovely taking care of every detail, including explaining the many places to see original La Latina during the evening. Hope to return one day!

Aspectos negativos: Nothing to mention, really.

Aspectos positivos: The location was ideal for seeing the authentic Madrid and for touring the city with ease.

Aspectos negativos: An overly loud air con unit and a lack of privacy at the window/door onto the street.

Great property with great location and friendly hosts.

Aspectos positivos: Location was great, in close proximity to 3 metro stations. Aesthetic décor. Kitchen was great – having a dishwasher, multiple sets of cutlery and tableware. Having a washing machine in the apartment helped a lot too. Air conditioning machine was great, worked well both cooling and heating. Hosts (Alma, tio Victor) were very friendly and helpful despite my lack of Spanish ability, providing many local recommendations to explore. Check-in and check-out proceses were very easy and seamless.

Aspectos negativos: Four minor inconveniences, two of which did not apply to me, but just to be aware of. Bathrooms could do with a few more hooks to hang towels from, to be able to dry them. Washing machine does not have a dryer function, or perhaps I did not know how to make it work. Though there are two main beds, sinks, and showers in the apartment (upstairs and downstairs), there is only one toilet on the ground level, the basement room did not have a toilet. Be aware if you would be staying in on Sunday due to El Rastro markets from 09:00-15:00, the street directly outside the apartment would be filled with people. However the noise insulation was great once the doors are closed, and the gate and door are very secure.
